We are specialized in connecting, repairing and decorating of wooden elements and supply our products to various partners in production and wholesale, as well as furniture and window manufacturers in over 30 countries around the world.

To meet the highest quality requirements of the woodworking industry, all products are manufactured to latest technical standards and are suitable for industrial processing.

In order to guarantee the fastest possible delivery, we offer a comprehensive stock program with around 400 pallet units.

Our products include first-class products such as wooden dowels, round rods or multi grooved rods, as well as such innovative solutions for the wood industry as our CNC milled parts.

Josef Wellinger became independent as a carpenter in 1962 and founded the company JOWE. The company has remained true to this name to this day. As the first wooden dowel producer (est. 1964) in Austria, the name spread in German-speaking countries. In 1991, JOWE was handed over to Monika (daughter) and Helmut (son-in-law) Jungwirth and began with production of round bars. In 2001, Florian Jungwirth joined the company, initially learning all production steps and leading the manufactory since 2006. With the handing over in 2015, the product range has been expanded from three to meanwhile 23 main products in differnt variations. With this expansion, the construction of a new warehouse, and the expansion of special production, JOWE serves resellers and industrial companies in 40 countries even more flexibly with dowels pins, round bars, moldings, repair patches and much more. "In our industry, it used to take six to eight suppliers to offer the range we offer today. That is why our goal was and is to convince existing and new customers that time and money are saved with JOWE and that a certain amount of dependency is created ", says Florian Jungwirth. Due to the diversity and flexibility of JOWE, long-term business relationships and mutual dependence are created.

New warehouse and renovation of production at JOWE

To serve our customers even better and faster,
In 2015, a new 400m² large warehouse with space for over 300 pallet spaces was built.
Even before the cold season, we were able to fill our warehouse with goods.

Company handover on 01/01/2015 to Florian Jungwirth

Monika Jungwirth and Helmut Jungwirth led the company since 1991 in the second generation.
Florian Jungwirth has been working in the company since 2001. After the health-related departure from the company of Helmut Jungwirth in 2007, the areas of responsibility such as purchasing and production management were handed over to Florian.
Since 01/01/15 Monika Jungwirth has entered into a well-deserved retirement and handed over the company to Florian. However, Monika and Helmut are always on hand with help and advice. Even for the fourth generation we could take care of. Maximilian saw the light of day in May 2017.
Florian's wife Yulia has been with the company since 2017. With her experience in top international companies in the fields of export / import and marketing, she is already a great support in her areas of responsibility marketing and purchasing.
